About Us

A bit of history…

coloursJulie Emery opened Young Embroidery Services in 2003. At the time she operated from home with just one machine.
The business quickly outgrew the home and the first store was opened in September that year.

After two more moves, YES settled into its current location at 211 Boorowa Street in 2005, where our collection and range of services has continued to grow and improve. The team now consists of Julie, her daugher Toni and three friendly and experienced staff members.

Today, YES is Young’s leading supplier of school, corporate, work & sports wear. We only select quality garments, so you know that your branded items will last.
We also supply a large range of personalised gifts, such as towels and library bags.

We recently celebrated our 10 year anniversary and we will continue to provide quality services to our supportive community.

embroidery machine2How does it work?

We want to make the process as easy as possible for you & we can help you every step of the way

  1. pick a garment
  2. pick a logo. We can use your logo from an image or business card or we can design one for you using an image from our extensive image library
  3. decide on stitch or vinyl cut-out . We will then digitise the design
  4. sign off on design and confirm order (a deposit may be required depending on the size of your order)
  5. pick up & enjoy!

embroidery machine1Methods

We offer two main methods for your designs: embroidery and vinyl cut-out.
Embroidery consists of small stitching.
Vinyl cut-outs are heat pressed into your garment and melt into the fabric.

Each produces a different look: the decision comes down to your individual needs – we will work with you to decide the best fit.

Both methods offer almost unlimited colour options and produce quality, lasting results.
